The problem
As AI coding agents take on an expanding role in generating shipped software, they typically validate only the specific feature they were instructed to create. Broader user workflows and potential regressions remain untested, particularly as development cycles accelerate. Conventional test automation demands that engineers write and maintain code scripts, which become fragile when interfaces change. Meanwhile, managed testing platforms require lengthy sales processes, demonstrations and extended setup periods.
The solution
TesterArmy deploys AI agents that open actual browsers or start mobile applications and execute user journeys specified in everyday language, verifying that each step functions correctly. The system requires no access to application source code—only a URL or an app package—and integrates with GitHub or CI pipelines to run tests automatically whenever code changes.
Customer base
The platform serves engineering teams ranging from early-stage startups through Series C companies. The startup counts over 50 active clients, among them Resend, bolt.new, Novu, CodeCrafters, Rork and Nando's.
Funding and backers
The €1 million round was led by Y Combinator, AIP Seed, Eight Capital and Script Capital. Angel investors include Guillermo Rauch (Vercel founder), Walden Yan (co-founder of Cognition, which created Devin), Charlie Cheever (Expo CEO and Quora co-founder), Zeno Rocha (Resend founder), Fernando Rojo (Head of v0 at Vercel) and Fryderyk Wiatrowski (Viktor CEO).
Use of funds
Capital will go toward expanding the team and scaling the platform to support hundreds of companies.

We spent years shipping mobile apps for other companies, so we know that much of testing has nothing to do with writing test scripts. It is the logins, devices and infrastructure. Teams knew what needed testing; they just did not have time to set it all up. We wanted the answer to be simple: describe what should happen, and the test runs.

Background
Both founders are Polish engineers who collaborated at music label MyMusic and subsequently at Callstack, a major React Native consulting firm. Rybczak began writing production code at age 14 while at edtech company LiveKid and holds the distinction of being the youngest contributor to React Native. He was still completing high school when TesterArmy gained acceptance into Y Combinator, commuting between San Francisco and Poland to finish his final exams. The platform's agents can manage login flows requiring email or SMS verification codes, with initial tests operational within minutes of platform connection.
