Colt Technology Services has seen the departure of its Chief Digital & Information Officer, Ashish Surti, who leaves after a nine-year stint with the infrastructure and connectivity provider.

Surti's journey at Colt began in 2017 when he joined as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer. He was promoted to a board-level position in 2018, and then advanced further in 2020 to assume the Chief Digital & Information Officer role.

In his most recent position, Surti oversaw worldwide technology strategy, infrastructure and risk assurance, managing teams spread across multiple continents. His responsibilities encompassed digital transformation initiatives, cybersecurity programmes and technology modernisation efforts, while also addressing the escalating risks associated with technology and cyber threats.

Through a LinkedIn announcement, Surti marked the transition as a turning point in his career. "After nine years, this chapter closes and another one will begin shortly: my time at Colt Technology Services has come to an end," he wrote. He has not yet disclosed details about his next role.

Prior to his time at Colt, Surti held senior leadership positions at several major financial and insurance institutions, including TSB Bank, Clutch Group, Direct Line, Aviva and Lloyds TSB.
