Scheduled for 30 September 2025, PrivacyCamp25 will operate as a hybrid event hosted at La Tricoterie in Brussels alongside a virtual component. The complete programme is now available for those interested in attending the continent's most significant annual gathering dedicated to digital rights and privacy.
Recognised as a cornerstone conference across Europe, PrivacyCamp draws more than 300 participants annually—including digital rights specialists, civil society activists, academic researchers and government officials—from across the European continent and internationally. This year marks the 13th iteration of the event, which will centre on the theme Resilience and Resistance in Times of Deregulation and Authoritarianism, with participants working together to strengthen collective action against urgent threats to digital human rights.
Prospective attendees must complete registration before 24 September at 23:59 CET. The registration process is available to all participants at no cost and is mandatory for both those planning to attend the Brussels venue in person and those joining remotely, as it enables organisers to distribute essential logistical information to ensure a seamless experience.
The event is coordinated by European Digital Rights (EDRi) in partnership with the Research Group on Law, Science, Technology & Society (LSTS) based at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Privacy Salon vzw, the Institute for European Studies at UCLouvain Saint-Louis Bruxelles, and the Racism and Technology Center.
Financial contributions from supporters enable PrivacyCamp to remain free of charge while advancing EDRi's broader mission: championing stringent regulatory frameworks, mobilising constituencies, fostering accountability within the technology sector, and cultivating a movement dedicated to safeguarding digital rights across an interconnected world.
