Filip Linek founded FLÆ Robotics to tackle a persistent challenge in the hospitality sector: hotel staff spend considerable time answering routine guest questions and managing administrative tasks through email, phone and chat channels, leaving less capacity for personalised service.
The company's product, BE-A, is an AI agent designed to manage these repetitive interactions around the clock. Operating across WhatsApp, email, web chat and phone, the system goes beyond simply responding to queries—it integrates with hotel management systems to execute actions such as checking room availability, processing bookings and providing service information. The platform supports more than 100 languages.
More than 60 hotels across the United Kingdom, Germany and Czechia are already using BE-A, including Weetwood Hall Hotel and Hotel Atlantis near Brno.
Purple Ventures and Garage Angels backed the seed round. Jan Davídek, General Partner at Purple Ventures, stated: "We invested in FLÆ Robotics because BE-A is already solving a very real problem for hotels and proving its value in day-to-day operations. The team combines strong hospitality experience with a clear product vision and international ambition. We believe there is significant potential to scale BE-A across European and global hotel markets."
How BE-A works
The system's core function involves sorting incoming messages and directing requests to the appropriate team member or automated workflow. It then executes the corresponding action within hotel systems, freeing staff to focus on guests and situations requiring human expertise and judgment.
Hotel teams handle a large volume of repetitive enquiries and tasks every day across email, phone and other channels. We are developing BE-A to go beyond answering questions and carry out the next step within hotel systems. This gives staff more time for guests and situations that need their experience and judgement.

Traction and performance
During July and August 2026, BE-A processed approximately 265,000 messages and voice interactions spread across nearly 160,000 conversations, averaging more than 4,000 interactions per day. The platform completed 3,400 bookings without requiring human intervention during that two-month period. Hotel Atlantis, one of the early adopters, has praised the agent's "natural and polite tone."
Funding and expansion plans
The €1 million-plus seed round marks FLÆ Robotics' first publicly announced external funding. The company intends to allocate the capital toward accelerating product development, expanding integrations with hotel management systems, hiring additional team members and pursuing international growth.
Geographically, the startup plans to deepen its presence in Germany, expand into Austria, build on its United Kingdom launch and prepare entry into the United States hotel market.
Business model
FLÆ Robotics operates on a software-as-a-service model, licensing BE-A directly to hotels and integrating it with their existing systems.
