Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has secured a role as Worldwide Supplier for the 2027 Ryder Cup, which will unfold at Adare Manor in County Limerick, Ireland. The company will furnish networking, artificial intelligence and cloud infrastructure for the tournament, scheduled for 17–19 September 2027. This edition marks the Ryder Cup's centennial year. Organisers anticipate more than 250,000 spectators on the ground, with a projected global television audience exceeding 650 million.
HPE's contribution centres on deploying a Self-Driving Network built on Wi-Fi 7 technology, designed to maintain connectivity across the 230-acre venue. The network will span the golf course, spectator stands, hospitality zones, media operations and administrative facilities. The system operates autonomously, tracking network performance and making real-time adjustments to prevent disruptions before they materialise.
The company will also enhance the Connected Intelligence Centre, a facility first deployed at the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in New York. Running on HPE Private Cloud AI and built by HPE Services, this centre will consolidate tournament data and AI capabilities in one location.
The Ryder Cup sets the standard for global sporting events and its unique demands are a perfect proving ground for HPE's latest technology innovations across networking, AI and cloud. HPE is proud to return for this historic tournament and help prepare the Ryder Cup for the future with an intelligent foundation that connects people, simplifies operations and demonstrates what is possible as organizations implement autonomous, agentic IT.
