The two firms have broadened their existing relationship to give customers access to Netskope's Security Service Edge (SSE) capabilities via BT International's Global Fabric network-as-a-service offering. The combination aims to deliver quicker, more dependable pathways for AI, cloud and automated processes across enterprise networks.

By pairing Netskope One SSE with Global Fabric, BT seeks to cut latency in networks, boost how applications perform and ensure uniform security protections for organisations spread across different regions. The underlying infrastructure relies on direct internet exchange point (IXP) connections and distributed network access points worldwide to move data swiftly among end-users, applications and security infrastructure.

Matt Swinden, Managing Director of Strategy and Product at BT International, stated: "Netskope is a strategic partner in helping us deliver the AI-ready digital foundations our customers need. Bringing together the Netskope SSE platform with Global Fabric gives customers a more predictable, higher-performing path between their users, agents, and the security services protecting them, while giving them the flexibility to choose the level of protection that fits their business."

The expanded arrangement is intended to enable multinational enterprises to embrace AI and cloud infrastructure more readily while keeping security risks in check, according to the telecoms operator.

Parag Thakore, Chief Product Officer at Netskope, commented: "AI is rapidly changing what organisations need from their security architecture. Agents, applications, and users all need fast, reliable, real-time access to data and cloud services, and that means security has to be built into the network path, not bolted on as an afterthought. By bringing closer the Netskope One platform and BT International's Global Fabric, we're giving multinational customers an optimised, high-performance routing capability to the protection they need, without the latency and complexity of traditional architectures."
