Science4Beauty, operating from Warsaw, has closed a €1.6 million funding round spearheaded by 4growth VC alongside Hard2beat to advance its recombinant conotoxin technology—a clinically validated, injection-free substitute for botox—and pursue growth beyond Poland's borders. The company's lead product, Miorelaxant Magic™, has demonstrated clinical efficacy in reducing wrinkle depth by as much as 48% and prolonging botox effects for approximately 60 days.
Piney, a property operations platform founded in Cyprus, has attracted €1.6 million in fresh capital from Uni.fund as lead investor and 33East. The company offers property managers of short- and mid-term rentals an integrated software layer that handles cleaning scheduling, laundry coordination, linen tracking and supply chain management from a single interface.
Rayscape, a medtech company based in Romania, has secured a €1.4 million (RON 7.67 million) grant from the European Union toward a €2 million initiative to create an artificial intelligence-driven platform for cancer imaging analysis. Backed jointly by the EU's Health Programme and STEP framework, with Rayscape contributing the remaining funds, the three-year programme will develop Rayscape TAP-CT, a three-dimensional computational algorithm intended to assist radiologists in identifying and monitoring malignant lesions in computed tomography scans of the chest, abdomen and pelvis.
Instarc, a regulatory technology firm headquartered in Tallinn, has raised €1.25 million to enter the South African market with its cloud-based compliance platform. HFO Investments led the round, with Athena Capital and Option 3 Capital serving as advisers. The company supplies compliance infrastructure to regulated entities, enabling South African businesses to fulfil customer identification, due diligence and reporting obligations under FICA legislation.

Wonderful, an artificial intelligence startup with backing from both Israel and the Netherlands, has raised $550 million in Series C financing, valuing the company at $5 billion—more than double its $2 billion valuation from six months prior. Insight Partners led the investment, joined by existing shareholders and newcomer Salesforce. Established in 2025, Wonderful builds AI agents designed for customer service operations and enterprise automation, now serving clients across more than 35 nations. The firm established its Central and Eastern European operations centre in Zagreb during the previous year.
